StretchAbility is committed to transparency about what we do, what we have observed, and what we do not yet know.
What We Are
Fitness & wellness.
Not healthcare.
StretchAbility LLC is a fitness and wellness company. We provide assisted stretch therapy sessions using the Obaji Method — a proprietary system developed by founder Ash Obaji. StretchAbility is not a healthcare provider. We are not licensed physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, or any other licensed medical professional. Our services do not constitute medical treatment, physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, or any form of licensed healthcare.
Nothing provided by StretchAbility is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Clients with medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns are encouraged to consult their licensed healthcare provider before beginning any new fitness or wellness program, including assisted stretch therapy.
Our Research.
Observational research
in progress.
StretchAbility is currently conducting ongoing observational research on the effects of the Obaji Method on musculoskeletal mobility, nervous system regulation, and client-reported outcomes. This research is observational in nature — it documents what clients report before and after sessions, and tracks patterns across our growing client base.
All outcome references on this website — including references to mobility improvements, recovery, performance, and client-reported experiences — represent preliminary observational data and research hypotheses. No claims made on this website have been reviewed, validated, or approved by any medical authority, regulatory body, or peer-reviewed scientific publication. StretchAbility is actively working toward formal academic research partnerships to validate these observations through rigorous scientific study.
Research Disclaimer
StretchAbility is a fitness and wellness company. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. All outcome references on this website are client-reported observations or research hypotheses. All claims represent preliminary observations pending scientific validation. Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed.
Outcome Claims.
What "clients report"
actually means.
Throughout this website, we use language such as "many clients report," "some clients find," "preliminary observations suggest," and "results vary by individual." This language is deliberate and accurate. It reflects what our clients tell us — not what we guarantee, promise, or claim has been scientifically proven.
Individual results depend on many factors including the client's age, health history, condition, consistency of sessions, and other lifestyle factors. No outcome described on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee or typical result.
Scope of Practice.
What we do.
What we don't.
StretchAbility practitioners do: deliver assisted stretch therapy sessions using the Obaji Method, guide clients through breathwork to support nervous system regulation, apply Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) techniques, and use a percussive vibration therapy device to support muscle activation and circulation.
StretchAbility practitioners do not: diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment plans, provide medical advice, practice massage therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic care, or any licensed healthcare service.
If you have a medical condition or injury, please consult your licensed healthcare provider. StretchAbility sessions are not a substitute for medical care.
